Montecristo 520 is the name given to a very special limited edition cigar released by Habanos in 2012. This legendary Cuban cigar was created to commemorate the 520 years since Cuban tobacco was first introduced to Europe after Christopher Columbus's first voyage to what was then referred to as the West Indies. With a well-applied cap and a firm, consistent wrapper, the 520 is a cigar with a distinctive appearance. It provides a long smoke, lasting from an hour and a half to two hours.
