Quintero's soft, medium-bodied flavor makes it ideal for those looking to experience the flavor of Habanos. It is one of the few Habanos brands that are not born in the capital of Cuba, Havana. Instead, its founder Agustín Quintero with his four brothers established a shop in the city of Cienfuegos, on the south coast, known as the "Pearl of the South". All tobaccos selected for the Quintero filling mixture come from the Vuelta Abajo and Semi Vuelta areas. All Quinteros are manufactured using the Short Tripe technique.
