TRINIDAD LA TROVA...
First Habanos cigar of Cañonazo Especial vitola since the Cohiba 1966, a Limited Edition from 2011, meaning that it is a cigar that will last for about 1.5 hours. As expected from a Trinidad cigar, perfect construction, great flavors. Medium - Strong cigar but never harsh, very creamy overall. Despite being still a young cigar (The box we smoked was from Nov 2017), it smokes great and has lots of potential.
H. MONTERREY LE...
The Hoyo de San Juan from Hoyo de Monterrey is a tasty Habano, of Geniales format,. Released at the 2014 Habanos Festival, this big ring gauge cigar is reminiscent of the old brand, but with a modern twist that appeal to many big ring gauges aficionados. It sports a new band which reads “Serie Le Hoyo” but as any Hoyo de Monterrey, it is hand rolled only using tobacco from San Juan y Martínez district, where the brand was born in 1865. It is of light to medium flavor, very aromatic and rich smoke. One of the best Hoyo out there. Has a great potential for aging, which would make it even smoother.

Endowed with many qualities similar to those of Lanceros, an elegant and tight shape and a touch of floral flavors, this cigar is smoother than the great Panetela, making it more accessible to the intermediate and beginner smoker. The cluster has a sophisticated blend of medium layer tobacco with stronger spicy tobacco. Coffee, vanilla and cocoa mix with licorice and cedar creating an intriguingly smooth smoke in the mouth.
