The Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No.2 Cigar is another addition to the Epicure series of Hoyo de Monterrey Cigars. It has a Robustos vitola. This Cuban cigar starts out smooth and progresses into a distinctive spicy hue, along with earth, cedar, and minerals.
The Ramon Allones Specially Selected is bold but never overwhelming. This robusto is medium in strength and full of flavor and aromas. In 1845, Jaime Partagás y Rabell founded his own cigar brand. Throughout its 170-year history, the Partagás brand has had numerous owners, perhaps especially the Cifuentes family who were the last owners of the brand, created dos Partagás. The two companies that own the two brands launched, celebrate the 150th, 160th and now 170th anniversaries of the Partagás brand and quite fanfare. For the 170th anniversary, special Cameroon is back, albeit, not 38-year-old wrapper. Instead, General is using Cameroon grown in the Kadey region, which is in the eastern part of the country bordering the Central African Republic. The wrapper, which is grown by the legendary Meerapfel family, is grown without the use of fertilizer.
The H Upmann Magnum 50 is a classic Cuban medium smoke, of Double Robusto format. Very elegant, it has all the characteristics and taste of a H Upmann cigar.
